    Tomatoes have always been one of my favourite fruits. Little cherry tomatoes picked in the sunshine and eaten straight from the vine are simply THE best thing ever. So it was no surprise that these little bundles of tasty goodness made it on the the list of vegetables and fruit to grow at the allotment this year.     Growing your own fruit and vegetables at home is a fantastic thing. But how do you decide what to grow?   My earliest memories of homegrown food are at my Grandmas and Granda’s house up in Northumberland. They always had one half of their garden dedicated to growing vegetables.
